Is my blood pressure normal?
I'm 21, 5'6 and weigh 60 kgs / 132 lbs. I've had problems with high blood pressure in the past and the doctor suggested I exercise and start eating better because I was also at risk of type 2 diabetes. For the past year I've been taking his advice and started running / being a lot more active and eating better. I recently borrowed my friend's sphygmomanometer (what a mouthful!) to measure my blood pressure: 94/72 and my pulse was 58 bpm. I've heard that 120/80 is a normal blood pressure to have and now I'm kind of worried since It's not even close to that. Is my blood pressure normal or should I go back to my Doctor again?
